In this guide, we will show you how to upgrade the firmware so that SMD and IVS functions can still be used in Alarm in/disarming at some TiOC 1.0 cameras.

Prerequisites:

New customized firmware
TiOC 1.0 camera
Windows PC with IE browser

Step by Step Instructions

1. Enter the IP address of IPC in the IE browser. (The IP in the figure below is only an example)

2. Check the Firmware version

3. Check the Event-Alarm (Old version without SMD and IVS)

4. Check the Event -Disarming (Old version without SMD and IVS)

5. Click browse to upload the new customized firmware with BIN file and upgrade to the latest version.

(In the example below the Firmware: DH_IPC-HX5XXX-Volt_MultiLang_PN_Stream3_V2.820.107J002.0.R.211012.zip is used for the device IPC-HDW3449H-AS-PV)

6. After the upgrade, check whether the firmware version is successfully upgraded

7. Now we can enable the SMD and IVS functions in Event-Alarm through one click

8. Also, we can disable the SMD and IVS functions in Event-Disarming through one click

Q. What if I enable the IVS or SMD in Alarm and Disarming at the same time.

A. Disarming will have higher priority
